Lyne is a large electorate.
It covers part or all of five Local Government areas. It includes significant urban areas on the coast—Greater Taree, Forster, and Tuncurry—as well as key rural hubs inland— Wauchope, Gloucester, and Dungog. There are also many coastal communities in the electorate, such as Hawks Nest, Hallidays Point, Karuah, Harrington, Camden Haven, and Lake Cathie; and many smaller towns and villages such as Paterson, Gresford, Bulahdelah, Nabiac, Stroud, and the dispersed farmland areas up the inland valleys. |
